Mumbai, December 13, 2021: Mahindra Lifespaces® , the real estate and infrastructure development arm of Mahindra Group, has achieved ‘Leadership’ status in the 2021 Global Climate Change report by CDP, a leading international nonprofit that runs an environmental disclosure system for investors, companies, cities, states and regions. Mahindra Lifespaces® is India’s only real estate company to have secured ‘Leadership’ ranking in CDP’s Climate Change assessment in the last five years. It is also one of only 10 Indian companies in the ‘A‘-band for Climate Change in 2021. Mahindra Lifespaces® has been recognised for climate change stewardship, including governance, disclosure practices and management of risks.
2021 marks the eighth year of CDP disclosure by Mahindra Lifespaces®. CDP encourages companies and governments to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions and switch to more sustainable materials and operations.
