The role requires a strong understanding of customer requirements, market trends, and company capabilities, as well as the ability to articulate complex solutions in a clear and compelling way.
Key responsibilities include managing the end-to-end bid process, from opportunity identification to proposal submission; conducting presales engagements and technical assessments; preparing high-quality, client-specific proposals and presentations; and coordinating resources across teams to ensure timely delivery.
Presales work /solution designing related to various solutions like Servers, Storage, Networking components, Security components (EDR/XDR, SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, Threat Intelligence, DDoS, Firewall, IPS, IDS, etc.) CCTV, Access Control, ICCC, VMS, VA etc.
Define and implement a structured way of handling opportunities, RFP, RFI, EOI, RFQ responses
Plan, co-ordinate and align with key internal stakeholders to obtain the required information to compile the bid with completeness, quality and in time (making sure deadlines are met)
Maintain clear, proactive and transparent communication with stakeholders setting clear expectations on required information and timelines. Prompt tracking, follow up and responses to adhere to the quality and the timelines.
Preparation of draft proposal sections based on RFP/RFI/EOI/Proposal requirement and compelling
Proposal creation and pricing
Proposal proofreading and documentation
Assessing and addressing the technical and commercial risks relating to the bid.
Contract / Service agreement / SOW creation
Support sales team / manager in all engagements
Maintain a repository of the recent RFI / RFP responses, presentations, sales collateral, etc.
Work closely with the services organization to ensure effective translation of customer requirements during implementation
Keep abreast of the latest solutions and research current and future market trends.
B. Tech (Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics & Communication) / MCA / MBA – IT.
Experience – 8+ years
