We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Manager of Business Development and Sales to lead and drive the growth of our organization. In this leadership role, you will oversee the development and execution of strategic sales initiatives and be responsible for meeting or exceeding revenue targets. You will work closely with senior leadership to define sales goals, identify new market opportunities, and enhance customer acquisition and retention strategies.
Client Acquisition: Identify and engage prospective government or PSU clients through cold calls, networking, and market research.
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals in government sector or PSUs. Identify and prioritize potential government clients and opportunities. Stay updated on government policies, procurement processes, and cybersecurity regulations to align offerings accordingly.
Solution Selling: Understand client challenges, present tailored cyber security solutions, and address objections effectively.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. Act as the primary point of contact for government clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their cybersecurity needs.
Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging threats, and competitor activities to provide strategic input to the sales team.
Collaboration: Partner with the technical team to deliver product demonstrations and craft customized proposals.
Pipeline Management: Track and manage sales activities using CRM tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
Qualification - Graduation in Any discipline/ Post-Graduation in IT.
Experience - 8+ years
Qualification: - B. Tech (Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics & Communication) / MCA / MBA – IT.
Experience: - Understanding of cyber security solutions and services, such as VAPT, AppSec, Red Teaming, SOC, firewalls, endpoint protection, and threat intelligence etc.

The role requires a strong understanding of customer requirements, market trends, and company capabilities, as well as the ability to articulate complex solutions in a clear and compelling way.
Key responsibilities include managing the end-to-end bid process, from opportunity identification to proposal submission; conducting presales engagements and technical assessments; preparing high-quality, client-specific proposals and presentations; and coordinating resources across teams to ensure timely delivery.
Presales work /solution designing related to various solutions like Servers, Storage, Networking components, Security components (EDR/XDR, SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, Threat Intelligence, DDoS, Firewall, IPS, IDS, etc.) CCTV, Access Control, ICCC, VMS, VA etc.
Define and implement a structured way of handling opportunities, RFP, RFI, EOI, RFQ responses
Plan, co-ordinate and align with key internal stakeholders to obtain the required information to compile the bid with completeness, quality and in time (making sure deadlines are met)
Maintain clear, proactive and transparent communication with stakeholders setting clear expectations on required information and timelines. Prompt tracking, follow up and responses to adhere to the quality and the timelines.
Preparation of draft proposal sections based on RFP/RFI/EOI/Proposal requirement and compelling
Proposal creation and pricing
Proposal proofreading and documentation
Assessing and addressing the technical and commercial risks relating to the bid.
Contract / Service agreement / SOW creation
Support sales team / manager in all engagements
Maintain a repository of the recent RFI / RFP responses, presentations, sales collateral, etc.
Work closely with the services organization to ensure effective translation of customer requirements during implementation
Keep abreast of the latest solutions and research current and future market trends.
